Tenneco Litchfield, a manufacturing facility in the Clean Air division of Tenneco, is seeking skilled welders to join our production teams. You will apply Mig and Tig welding processes to assemble exhaust components, inspect welds, and support cell operations with safety and quality in mind.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in continuous improvement activities within the 5S and Lean frameworks. Overtime may be required.

Welders start at $25.47 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift premium. Additional pay increases at 6 months and 1 year of employment.
Tenneco Litchfield is a manufacturing facility belonging to the Clean Air division of Tenneco. Our primarily focus is producing full exhaust systems and related components for OEM’s (Automotive Plants)and aftermarket parts. Our major customers are General Motors, Ford, Toyota, VW, Nissan, and many aftermarket vehicle replacement parts. We have 3 departments known as Canning, Bending and Final assembly. Canning is the production zone where catalytic converters and different filters are assembled and sealed inside their metal outer shells. Our bending department is responsible for shaping straight metal in complex, curved shapes to fit under the vehicle, and tail pipes. Final assembly at the end of the shop is where, bent pipe, stuffed cans, hangers and flanges are all welded together to make a vehicle ready exhaust system.
Apply appropriate welding process to meet specifications, inspect and repair welds as needed to support the production and assembly of exhaust pipe components. Perform as an active team member in performing other tasks within the cell. Participate in cell level BOS meetings.
