Job summary

Tenneco Litchfield, a manufacturing facility of the Clean Air division, is seeking a welder to apply MIG/TIG welding processes and ensure weld quality for exhaust system components. You will participate in cell-level BOS meetings and rotate through stations to support production.

The role requires welding knowledge, ability to read orders and gauges, and adherence to safety standards; high school diploma or GED is required. Overtime may be required and we emphasize teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes such as MIG and TIG.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, directions and safety regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read various gauges.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate welding process to meet specifications.
• Inspect and repair welds as needed to support production and assembly.
• Work as part of a cellular operating group and rotate through workstations.
• Perform safety checks and maintain welding equipment.
• Overtime as required.
