The role requires a high school diploma or GED, MIG welding experience, and the ability to pass an evaluation within 60 days. You’ll work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Must read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Must pass MIG welder evaluation within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding to join metals per specifications and achieve desired strength and appearance.
• Review blueprints or instructions for each job and identify components to weld.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and document hourly quality checks.
• Update hourly count boards to track production progress.
• Report production counts to supervisor and tag/identify finished containers.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, adjust settings for job requirements.
