Job summary

ABEC seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Service to lead growth in the Midwest region. You will manage key accounts, uncover new opportunities, and drive service revenue through strategic territory planning.

Travel will be substantial (60–80%), with collaboration across engineering and business-unit teams to deliver customer-focused service solutions. You will influence stakeholders and build lasting partnerships, supported by a competitive base salary and uncapped incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven success in consultative sales, strategic selling, and negotiation.
• 3–5 years of experience selling within biopharmaceutical manufacturing or similar outside direct sales with a consultative approach.
• Knowledge of Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across operations, procurement, engineering, quality, product development, and executive leadership.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to achieve customer and business objectives.
• CRM experience (minimum 2 years).
• Willingness to travel extensively (60–80%).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase service revenue and market share.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional responsiveness.
• Develop account strategies that align customer needs with ABEC's service offerings.
• Collaborate with ABEC Business Unit leaders and technical teams to identify and close opportunities.
• Coordinate customer meetings, presentations, proposals, and sales negotiations.
• Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer call reports.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to senior management.
• Establish and maintain strong professional networks within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Drive customer satisfaction through consistent communication and relationship management.
• Manage territory expenses effectively while achieving revenue objectives.
• Partner with colleagues across multiple locations to leverage best practices and maximize results.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence.
• Travel throughout the territory as needed (60–80%).
