Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Regional Director of Learning Environments, Midwest. You will secure new and repeat business by building relationships with school districts, universities and community partners.

Expect significant travel and strong cross-functional collaboration with the Inside and Outside Sales teams. You’ll lead proposals, present CEUs, and guide bids while leveraging Lakeshore’s brand and product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; job-related experience may substitute.
• 6 years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of K-12 FF&E procurement and A&D presenting (CEUs) required.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Salesforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills; timely follow-up required.
• Willingness to travel within territory, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure sales in the field focusing on K-12 FF&E opportunities across districts and sites.
• Own a designated geographic area and drive business growth.
• Promote Lakeshore value proposition to customers at all levels.
• Attend bid openings, boards meetings, and guide bid responses.
• Manage sales pipeline from lead generation to installation with regional/inside sales teams.
• Collaborate with managers to delegate tasks and drive project outcomes.
• Host product presentations and events to familiarize customers with Lakeshore services.
• Coordinate with district leadership to secure specs and CEUs where appropriate.
• Travel to identify market nuances and participate in conferences to promote Lakeshore.
