Job summary

Axis Communications in the United States is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for the Midwest region in the Chicagoland area. You will provide pre‑sales engineering and support, develop system design recommendations, and present training seminars on-site and via webinars to customers.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication, and 4+ years in networking or video‑related systems with customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering or Information Systems
• 4+ years of experience in networking and/or video‑related systems, preferably customer‑facing

Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales engineering and support
• Prepare technical sales support materials
• Develop system design recommendations
• Manage project and maintenance initiatives
• Present training seminars on‑site and through webinars
• Develop Requests for Proposals and Information
• Coordinate on‑site proof of concept and trial installations
• Provide in‑depth on‑site troubleshooting and solutions
• Work cohesively with Regional Sales Managers and sales support
• Perform other related duties as assigned
