Job summary

Axis Communications, a leading network technology company, seeks a Sales Engineer, Mid-Atlantic to work with the sales team on design-centered solutions using Axis hardware and software. The role emphasizes providing design services across the Axis portfolio and supporting implementations in the Axis Experience Center.

The candidate should have strong design, network, and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, networking, CS, or security-related field.
• 3+ years in customer-facing roles involving design, engineering, project management or integration.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert for design tasks and maintains/updates AEC equipment and network.
• Supports Axis-based solutions primarily in a pre-sales capacity.
• Advises on Axis hardware and software platforms.
• Provides design training and best practices for Axis partners and end users.
• Educates and disseminates information on best practices internally and externally.
• Researches ways to provide better services and offerings to Axis partners.
