Job summary

The role includes meetings with parents, analyzing TVAAS data, and tutoring students as needed, supporting strong academic outcomes in K–12 charter schools in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Holds a TN teaching license in English/Language Arts with endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Proven track record of academic success as evidenced by TVAAS and state assessments.
• Ability to work in an extended day environment.
• Experience teaching in an inclusion environment with a co-teacher.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design weekly lesson plans and develop standards-based assessments.
• Analyze assessment data and create intervention plans to meet scholars’ needs.
• Integrate technology effectively in lessons and projects.
• Meet with parents regarding student performance and conduct.
• Tutor students and perform other duties as assigned.
