Qualifications

• Holds a current TN teaching license in History with endorsement codes.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Experience with TVAAS/data-driven instruction preferred.
• Belief that all students can learn at high levels.
• Uses digital content and project-based learning.
• Available to work in extended day environment.
• Able to co-teach in an inclusion setting.
• Strong communication and writing skills required.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design weekly lesson plans and standards-based assessments.
• Analyze assessment data and create intervention plans.
• Integrate technology effectively in classrooms.
• Implement project-based learning.
• Meet with parents regarding performance and conduct.
• Develop scholar improvement plans and collaborate with IEP teams.
• Work with school and network teams and attend PD.
• Create and review student assessments.
• Tutor students and perform other duties as assigned.

Education

TN History teaching license with endorsements
