Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a current TN teaching license in English/Language Arts with endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Proven track record of academic success (preferred).
• Ability to teach in an inclusion environment with a co-teacher.
• Experience using technology and project-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and teach a Common Core-based curriculum.
• Plan weekly lessons and develop standards-based assessments.
• Analyze assessment data and create intervention plans.
• Integrate technology and project-based learning in lessons.
• Collaborate with parents and special educators in co-teaching.
• Plan with school and network teams and attend PD.
• Create and review student assessments and tutor students.
