Qualifications

• Holds TN teaching license in English/Language Arts with endorsement codes 001, 007, 101, 121, 159, 400, 401, 402, 407, 440.
• Master's degree in English or 18 graduate hours in English required.
• Proven track record of academic success (preferred).
• Ability to work with diverse learners in inclusion settings.

Responsibilities

• Design weekly lesson plans and develop standards-based assessments.
• Analyze assessment data and create intervention plans for scholars.
• Integrate technology and project-based learning into instruction.
• Meet with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with special educators in co-teaching models for IEP students.
• Create and review student assessments and tutor students as needed.
