Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a full-time PE teacher to design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and foster a joyful, inclusive classroom. You will integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to support student well-being and achievement across our San Jose sites.

Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to strengthen teaching practices through weekly meetings, coaching, and feedback, while upholding equity and anti-racist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (required).
• Meet one of the following eligibility requirements (required): Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject or be eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit (CPR certification prereq).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP’s academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, rigorous classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and leaders to build strong partnerships.
