Job summary

JD Logistics (JINGDONG Logistics) is seeking a Middle Mile Operations leader in Fontana, CA to optimize drayage, linehaul, and freight forwarding. You will oversee a company fleet and external carriers, driving cost efficiency and service reliability across the middle mile network.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation/logistics with supervisory experience, and fluent Mandarin and English. You will coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse Ops, and Customer Service to meet SLA

Qualifications

5+ years in transportation/logistics operations, with 2+ years in supervisory or managerial capacity.
Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
Experience managing carrier relationships, rate negotiations, and RFP/RFQ processes.
Proficiency with TMS platforms, Microsoft Excel (advanced), and data analysis tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute transportation strategies for Drayage and Middle Mile (FTL/LTL) and freight operations.
Lead end-to-end linehaul optimization to maximize load efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage company-owned fleet and external carrier partnerships.
Monitor DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety standards for internal and contracted fleets.
Prepare regular operations reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
