Job summary

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a Roadway Engineer in Glen Allen, Virginia to design and manage transportation projects across the Commonwealth. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with planners, engineers, and agencies.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience, a Civil/Transportation background, and a Virginia PE or EIT with PE within 1 year. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (or related field).
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in transportation design and/or project management.
• PE license in Virginia or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 1 year.
• Familiarity with VDOT standards and project delivery processes.
• Proficiency in MicroStation preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
