Job summary

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Mid/Senior Roadway Engineer to design roads and traffic systems and contribute to project management activities. You will collaborate with planners, engineers, contractors, and public agencies, while delivering high-quality engineering designs aligned with VDOT standards.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience, a Civil/Transportation Engineering degree, and a PE or EIT with PE target within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (or related field).
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in transportation design and/or project management.
• PE license in Virginia or EIT with the ability to obtain PE within 1 year.
• Familiarity with VDOT standards and project delivery processes.
• Proficiency in MicroStation preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
