Job summary

Paychex is hiring a Sales professional to grow our client base across Core Sales, HR Services Sales, or Major Market Sales. You’ll use the Go-to-Market strategy to identify client needs and present Paychex solutions to stakeholders in person or virtually.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, prospecting new clients, qualifying opportunities, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Travel may be required for regional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in B2B sales/marketing.
• 2 years of experience in the HCM industry.
• Cold calling experience.
• CRM software experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Go‑to‑Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders (in‑person or virtual).
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospect for new clients and referral sources using calls, mailings, events, and local programs.
• Analyze customer needs and interests to determine appropriate products and referrals.
• Complete and submit new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports.
• Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
• Project a positive image representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
• Travel outside territorial boundaries for conferences, trainings, and zone meetings as needed.
