Job summary

Paychex is seeking a mid-market sales professional to partner with growing businesses (20–99 employees) and help them optimize people operations using Paychex Flex and HR services. This consultative, relationship-driven role involves outbound prospecting, building a pipeline, and guiding businesses through discovery to close.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years professional sales experience with B2B focus.
• 2+ years HCM experience preferred.
• Ability to drive outbound prospecting and engagements with decision-makers.
• CRM software experience and disciplined pipeline management.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your territory.
• Sell Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity (calls, outreach, networking, partnerships) to build a pipeline.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high-velocity sales process with small and mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes).
• Own the full sales process—from discovery and solutioning to closing.
