Job summary

Paychex is hiring in a Mid-Market Sales role focused on helping growing businesses (20–99 employees) optimize people operations and scale with confidence. You’ll engage business owners in consultative sales conversations, manage outbound activity, and close multi-faceted deals.

With 2–5 years of B2B sales experience and HCM domain knowledge, you’ll build trusted partnerships, leverage Paychex Flex® solutions, and drive growth in a fast-paced, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 2 years of experience in B2B Sales/Marketing.
• 2 years of experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) industry.
• Cold Calling Experience.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory
• Sell a robust suite of solutions, including Paychex Flex® and advanced HR services.
• Execute consistent outbound activity (calls, outreach, networking, partnerships, and follow-ups) to build a pipeline
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers
• Own the full sales process—from discovery and solutioning to closing
