Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Business Development Rep to build a book of mid-market shippers. You will be on the phone, in email, and on LinkedIn, hunting opportunities and driving revenue with uncapped commissions.

You’ll own the sales cycle from prospecting to launch, collaborate with our carrier sales and operations teams, and advance carrier or shipper relationships in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation sales.
• Working knowledge of truckload and/or LTL.
• CRM chops (Salesforce or similar).
• Hunter mentality with confidence on the phone and in email outreach.

Responsibilities

• Prospect mid-market shippers by phone, email, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn.
• Run discovery calls that uncover new opportunities.
• Build proposals and pricing with our team.
• Manage new accounts through onboarding before handing them off to account management.
