Betterworks is seeking a high-performing Mid-Market Account Executive to join our remotesales team, based on the West Coast.

Betterworks Mid-market Account Executives are responsible for engaging with Human Resources teams, as well as IT/Internal Systems, and C-level leadership at some of the most sophisticated companies in the world to introduce Betterworks and our Performance Management software suite.

Our ideal candidate will bring an ownership mindset to developing, managing, and closing businesses within their territory. You will serve as a trusted advisor to help mid-market enterprises transform their performance and talent management processes, allowing them to succeed in today’s competitive market.

What You'll Do

  • Manage every stage of complex new logo sales cycles with mid-market prospects (companies with between 500 and 3,000 employees).
  • Cultivate multi-threaded relationships with mid-market prospects, spanning various organizational levels from Managers to the C-Suite, and across departments, including Human Resources, IT, Finance, and Information Security.
  • Be the ‘Quarterback’ of your team, working collaboratively with an assigned SDR, Solutions engineers, and sales leadership to ensure Betterworks’ prospects receive a World-class buying experience.
  • Excel at uncovering business needs, priorities, and objections through research and discovery throughout the sales process.
  • Bring a high degree of intellectual curiosity to the role.
  • Become an expert in our space, product, roadmap, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and become an expert in your geographical territory including owning prospecting strategy and pipeline development.
  • Consistently deliver an accurate forecast.

What We Look For

  • Four or more years of experience in software sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue goals by successfully closing complex deals.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and credibility.
  • Experience closing deals as a team, working collaboratively with internal resources such as sales development and sales engineering.
  • Demonstrated a history of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual and quarterly goals and targets.
  • Experience selling HR tech or to HR buyers is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent educational background.
