Location: Remote (Mid-western or Mid-southern United States preferred)
Reports to: EPIQ Head Office, St. Bruno, QC
About the Role: As an Account Manager at EPIQ, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our market leadership in the USA aluminum sector. Your primary focus will be on the growth and retention of key accounts within the aluminum industry, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales through strategic account management. This role is critical to achieving our revenue and strategic goals through the management of primary and secondary aluminum businesses, selling capital projects, momentum projects, and spare parts.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in assigned accounts to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor account health, address concerns, and maintain strong client retention.
- Strategic Account Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand business within existing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling products. Meet and exceed sales targets while growing market share and tracking client budgets and future plans (1-5 years).
- Sales Performance: Develop and execute tailored sales plans for assigned territories and accounts. Achieve and surpass sales targets while coordinating resources to close significant opportunities.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams (product management, engineering, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery of tailored products and solutions.
- Proposal Process Management: Oversee the proposal process, ensuring the correct resources are involved and deadlines are met. Negotiate project terms, conditions, and agreements.
- Market & Product Expertise: Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics. Leverage knowledge to inform account strategies and deliver valuable insights to customers.
- Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates on account status, including sales results, customer issues, and market opportunities. Use CRM tools to track account progress and forecast sales.
Required Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in explaining and demonstrating technical products and services, aligning solutions with business needs.
- Sales Acumen: Proven success in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Expertise in prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong experience in maintaining long-term client relationships in the U.S. aluminum market with a focus on customer satisfaction and support.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in analyzing client needs and offering innovative solutions to address challenges.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the aluminum industry, including emerging trends and competitor analysis.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborative team player, able to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve shared objectives.
