We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to add to the growth of our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solutions within the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, and Medical Device sectors. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter with a proven track record of selling complex talent acquisition solutions and establishing long-term partnerships with clients. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through consultative solution selling.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and engage with key decision-makers (CHROs, Talent Acquisition Heads, and Procurement Leaders) in the Pharma, Life Sciences, and Medical Device industries.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to generate new RPO business, driving pipeline growth and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Leverage industry knowledge and insights to identify market trends, client pain points, and opportunities for customized RPO solutions.
Solution Selling:
- Conduct needs assessments and consult with clients to understand their hiring challenges, workforce needs, and talent acquisition goals.
- Craft and present tailored RPO proposals, articulating the value proposition, service capabilities, and potential ROI.
- Collaborate with internal RPO delivery and implementation teams to develop solution strategies that meet client expectations.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Act as a strategic partner, continuously identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional talent solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless handoff to the implementation team post-sale.
Market and Industry Expertise:
- Stay current on market trends, competitors, and industry regulations within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and medical device sectors.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand presence and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of business development experience in selling RPO, MSP, or other talent acquisition solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-year contracts with mid-to-large enterprise clients.
- Deep understanding of pharma, life sciences, and medical device industry hiring needs, challenges, and trends.
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions and demonstrate value.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities with C-level and senior HR executives.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and contract-closing skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional internal teams.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and sales activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for proposal creation and reporting.
Performance Metrics:
- Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Growth in new client acquisition and expansion of RPO footprint.
- Consistent pipeline development and conversion rates.
- Base Salary + Uncapped Commission structure.
