Qualifications

5+ years of related work experience.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance required; past 24 months active considered.
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Technology.
Microsoft applications proficiency.
3D Printing, NC programming, composite/assembly jig building.
Experience with CAD (CATIA V5/V6, NX, 3DX, Siemens).
Experience with structural analysis (NASTRAN/PATRAN, FDA/FEMAP).
Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to design and support tooling for airplane manufacturing.
Develop designs including concept, structural analysis, and tool definition.
Identify and implement advanced technologies to improve processes.
Resolve fabrication concerns using stress analysis and materials concepts.
Conduct trade and cost studies; coordinate tool production across families.
Provide leadership in tool engineering competencies to boost efficiency.
Create detailed fabrication instructions and tooling media.
Lay out computer-generated models and NC data for tooling fabrication.
Act as liaison for producibility and measurement services.
Monitor quality via statistical process control and customer interfaces.
