UCP Long Island in Commack, NY, is seeking a compassionate Residential Shift Supervisor to lead Direct Care Staff during a day shift and ensure residents receive exceptional care, support, and opportunities for independence.

You will coordinate daily activities, monitor quality standards, and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment while mentoring staff and promoting person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience supporting children or adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities preferred.
• Valid New York State Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Direct Care Staff during assigned shifts.
• Assign staff responsibilities and activities based on individual needs and program requirements.
