UCP Long Island in Commack, NY is seeking an entry-level manager to supervise Direct Support Staff during shifts and ensure quality of care for residents with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Salary Range: $21.50 - $22.79 per hour (with shift differentials)
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Apply today to become part of UCP's dynamic team at our 31-bed intermediate care facility in Commack. This is an entry-level management position caring for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. Management experience preferred but not required.
Directly supervises up to 12 DSPs per shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two (2) years of related experience in the care of developmentally/physically delayed children or adults. Management experience preferred but not required.
NYS Driver license plus 1 year licensed driving experience (Required)
