Job summary

Debifi is seeking a Middle QA Engineer to help shape the future of decentralized finance through secure, high-performance testing of fintech products used by 100,000+ users worldwide.

You will perform manual testing, API testing, and develop E2E automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks, with a focus on native/hybrid mobile apps and robust bug documentation. This is a fully remote position with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web applications.
• Strong API testing and debugging skills using Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, or similar tools.
• Experience building, running, and maintaining End-to-End automated tests (UI and/or API checks) with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or RestAssured.
• Basic programming skills (JS, Python, Java, Ruby, etc.) to support test automation.
• Familiarity with security principles and detecting vulnerabilities (XSS, SQLi) during testing.
• Proficient in Jira and writing detailed bug reports and test documentation.
• Experience testing native and/or hybrid mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Expert-level knowledge of browser developer tools for network and element analysis.
• Understanding of web app testing, SDLC, and client-server architectures.
• Proficiency in English for business communication and technical reading.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work remotely in an asynchronous setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web applications.
• Execute API testing using Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, or equivalent tools.
• Develop, run, and maintain End-to-End automated tests (Playwright or similar).
• Test native and/or hybrid mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Log and document defects in Jira with clear bug reports.
• Create and update test documentation (test cases, checklists).
• Analyze browser dev tools data, network traffic, and logs during testing.
• Collaborate with the development team and management in an async remote environment.
