Job summary

Lower is seeking a QA Engineer focused on test automation to scale quality across our mortgage and fintech platforms. You will develop automated end-to-end tests, expand regression coverage, and maintain test suites for web apps and APIs.

This hands-on role blends automation with exploratory testing across our modern stack and requires close collaboration with QA, SDET, Eng, Product, and Design. You’ll work in a hybrid setup with options in Columbus, OH or Austin, TX, and contribute to CI/CD

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA engineering or automation experience.
• Experience writing automated tests for modern web apps.
• Proficient with Playwright or Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests.
• Expand regression, smoke, and release-validation suites.
• Collaborate with QA, SDET, Eng., Product, and Design to ensure quality.
• Investigate failures and distinguish defects from test or environment issues.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
