StairwaySoft is a global engineering provider of innovative software development services with a focus on fintech and crypto solutions. We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join a fintech product team and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with an experienced engineering team and another QA Engineer, performing manual testing across web-based features, documenting defects, and contributing to QA process improvements while growing with the team in a fully

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with bug investigation, reproduction, documentation, and lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
High level of proactivity, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of the web application, including user-facing and administrative functionality.
Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Test new features, business logic, user flows, and different edge cases.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle.
Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation.
Review requirements and clarify expected product behavior with the team when needed.
Work closely with developers, another QA Engineer, DevOps, and the CTO throughout the development process.
Participate in improving testing approaches, QA processes, and overall product quality.
