Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a QA Engineer (Service Desk) to investigate customer issues and drive them to resolution in a fast-moving fintech environment. You will analyze APIs, logs, databases, and documentation, working with cross-functional teams in a remote-first setting to improve reliability and product quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing of web-based applications, API validation, and investigative work on payment systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual and semi-automated testing of web apps.
• 2+ years API testing including auth, errors, requests/responses.
• Experience testing payment systems, transactions, and third-party integrations.
• Frontend/backend architecture understanding, REST APIs, data flows.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer-reported bugs and incidents from report to resolution.
• Reproduce issues, gather context, and identify root causes.
• Analyze logs, API traffic, databases, tickets to understand behavior.
• Collaborate with QA, devs, BAs to move issues toward resolution.
• Own support cases and follow up until explanation or workaround is found.
• Differentiate defects vs. config/integration/data issues.
• Validate fixes and perform targeted regression testing.
• Create bug reports with steps, evidence, logs, impact.
• Expand knowledge across docs and support history for faster investigations.
• Suggest process improvements for QA and troubleshooting.
