Job summary

SPD Technology seeks a senior QA/Automation Engineer to shape test automation for a cutting-edge Payment Orchestration Platform. You will design frameworks, lead API and UI testing, and drive performance testing initiatives across cloud-based services.

You bring 5+ years in software development or QA, strong Java/Kotlin skills, and hands-on API testing with RestAssured, MockServer, and JMeter. Remote, flexible hours, and collaboration with fintech teams are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development or QA engineering.
• 4+ years in test automation, API and UI testing.
• Strong skills in Java/Kotlin, JUnit/TestNG, RestAssured, MockServer, JMeter.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for back-end APIs and front-end where applicable.
• Build test automation solutions from scratch or extend existing ones for API and UI testing.
• Define and implement performance testing strategies using JMeter.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure testability and automation at all stages.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers, supporting growth and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization for automated testing (GitHub Actions).
