Job summary

Pioneering Evolution in Arlington, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to help build the Mission OS and SyncPoint modules. You will work on API design, event-driven workflows, and data modeling, from design through production, collaborating with senior engineers.

The stack includes C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, PostgreSQL with EF Core, RabbitMQ, Angular 19 and TypeScript, Docker, CI/CD, and Azure Government.

Qualifications

• Typically 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Ability to independently build REST APIs, backend services, and real business logic.
• Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM, and know when to drop to SQL.
• Strong relational database fundamentals; read a query plan.
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Ability to deliver a complete, production-ready feature end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful pieces of the platform or a SyncPoint module from design through production.
• Build an API in a sprint or design an event-driven workflow next.
• Tackle a complex data-modeling problem with an architect.
• Take a feature from an Angular interface through the application and data layers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to own the technical outcome.
