Job summary

Pioneering Evolution is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own complex components within a federated platform built on SyncCore and SyncPoint. You will shape architecture, APIs, event-driven workflows, and data persistence across the stack.

You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive quality through automated testing, while delivering scalable backend services in C#, .NET, Angular, and related technologies. Hybrid work in Arlington, VA with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong enterprise backend and REST API development at scale.
• Deep relational data and ORM experience, including design and performance work.
• Angular or comparable modern enterprise frontend experience.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems.
• Experience with distributed or microservice-based applications.
• Strong automated testing and diagnostic instincts.
• Ability to independently own complex features or entire application components.
• Real experience conducting technical code reviews and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own significant components across SyncCore or SyncPoint from architecture to APIs and data persistence.
• Lead architecture decisions, service boundaries, and data movement while ensuring security, observability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and promote engineering standards.
• Build and deliver scalable backend services using C#, .NET, Angular, and associated tech stack.
