Job summary

Pioneering Evolution is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to contribute to our Mission Operating System and SyncCore platform in Arlington, VA. You will work across C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and data layers to deliver production-ready features end to end.

You will join a small, driven team that values ownership, engineering judgment, and collaboration. We offer a hybrid schedule with some on-site days in Arlington and opportunities to influence architecture.

Qualifications

• Typically 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Ability to independently build REST APIs, backend services, and real business logic.
• Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM, with SQL familiarity.
• Strong relational database fundamentals with query plan literacy.
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests; production-ready delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful pieces of the platform or a SyncPoint module from design through production.
• Build APIs, design event-driven workflows, and collaborate with architects.
• Contribute to backend depth and actively participate in architectural decisions.
• Work alongside senior engineers and adapt as the product evolves.
