Job summary

Pioneering Evolution is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own complex components of its federated platform. You’ll work on SyncCore and SyncPoint, spanning architecture, APIs, data persistence, and production performance, with an emphasis on secure, observable, and scalable systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical reviews, and help raise the overall engineering capability while delivering high-impact features in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced C# and modern.NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong enterprise backend and REST API development at scale.
• Deep relational data and ORM experience, including design and performance work.
• Angular or comparable modern enterprise frontend experience.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems.
• Experience with distributed or microservice-based applications.
• Strong automated testing and diagnostic instincts.
• Ability to independently own complex features or entire components.
• Real experience conducting technical code reviews and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own significant capabilities across SyncCore or SyncPoint from architecture to APIs and deployment.
• Define service communication, boundaries, and data flow within the platform.
• Build secure, observable, and maintainable software that scales with the platform.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead by example in code reviews.
