Job summary

Holland & Knight's Tysons Office seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of experience with an emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions.

Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the full suite of documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions, as well as proficiency in drafting and negotiating the same.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in corporate M&A and securities.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Must be licensed in Virginia or eligible to waive into the Virginia Bar.
• Willing to work in the Tysons office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Join the Corporate M&A and Securities Practice as a mid-level associate.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies through the investment lifecycle.
• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related deal documents.
• Manage internal and external client relationships with professionalism.
• Collaborate with national/international firm teams to execute complex transactions.
