Prevailance, Inc. seeks a Mid-Level Instructional Designer to design training for NAVSEA personnel and stakeholders. The role focuses on clear objectives, engaging content, SMEs collaboration, and effective assessments. Remote work is allowed within 100 miles of Washington, D.C., with occasional travel.

A strong background in adult learning and LMS usage is required. Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required. Experience with NAVSEA or military contexts is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specialized experience in curriculum design.
• 5+ years of experience with LMS
• Proficiency in online course development using course-authoring tools
• Experience implementing courses in an LMS
• U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Define clear learning objectives and develop engaging, high-quality content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather and analyze information aligned with learner needs.
• Design detailed storyboards outlining course flow and interactive elements.
• Develop online courses to build skills and knowledge with assessments.
• Create multimedia-rich materials including audio, video, and visuals.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learner profiles and provide additional support.
• Recommend strategies to enhance curriculum effectiveness.
• Develop and execute needs assessments to collect and analyze data.
