Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Instructional Designer to support NAVSEA training needs. The role develops effective training tailored to U.S. Navy personnel and stakeholders, with remote work authorized within 100 miles of Washington, D.C., and occasional travel.

You will define objectives, collaborate with SMEs, and create storyboard-driven, multimedia online courses with assessments to measure impact. Bachelor’s in Education/ID required; U.S. citizenship essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of curriculum design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of LMS experience.
• Proficiency with online course development and authoring tools.
• Experience implementing courses in an LMS.
• Adult learning principles and tech-based content creation.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Define learning objectives and develop engaging content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze information for learners.
• Design detailed storyboards outlining course flow and interactions.
• Develop online courses and assessments to evaluate training impact.
• Create multimedia materials (audio, video, visuals).
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learner profiles.
• Recommend instructional strategies to improve curriculum effectiveness.
• Develop needs analysis plans and analyze data.
• Identify and address content discrepancies with actionable recommendations.
