Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a mid-level Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver technology-enabled learning solutions. You will collaborate with SMEs to create objectives, content, and assessments aligned with business needs.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles, e-learning development, and multimedia content creation to improve knowledge retention and performance. NAVSEA/FMS experience is highly desirable for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Eight years of specialized experience in curriculum design, instructional design, or related training development activities.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience translating technical information into clear, engaging instructional content.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain curricula, courses, and instructional materials.
• Apply adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
• Define measurable learning objectives and develop content to learners’ needs.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to organize technical information.
• Develop detailed course storyboards outlining flow and assessments.
• Use instructional design software to develop online courses and digital learning solutions.
• Create quizzes, tests, and knowledge checks to measure learning outcomes.
• Develop multimedia resources to support instruction.
• Identify learner characteristics and ensure content effectiveness.
• Recommend instructional methods and learning activities to support objectives.
• Develop and execute needs assessment and analysis plans.
• Collect and analyze data to address performance gaps and improve materials.
