Job summary

Core4ce Careers seeks a motivated Instructional Designer (Mid-Level) to design, develop, and deliver technology-enabled learning solutions. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, define objectives, and build interactive materials to improve learner performance.

Responsibilities include storyboarding, e-learning development, assessments, and multimedia integration. US Navy NAVSEA/FMS experience is highly desirable, with LMS familiarity and strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of specialized experience in curriculum design, instructional design, or related training development activities.
• A bachelor’s degree may be considered equivalent to four years of specialized experience, subject to contract requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience developing curriculum, instructional materials, course content, and assessments.
• Experience translating technical information into clear, engaging instructional content.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and training staff.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate training requirements and recommend instructional solutions.
• Experience using technology to develop and deliver learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Design and Curriculum Development: design, develop, and maintain curricula, courses, and materials.
• Adult Learning: apply adult learning principles to create effective learning experiences.
• Learning Objectives and Content Development: define measurable objectives and develop content.
• SME Collaboration: gather and organize technical information with SMEs.
• Storyboarding: develop detailed course storyboards detailing flow and assessments.
• E-Learning Development: use design software to create online courses.
• Assessment Development: create quizzes and knowledge checks.
• Multimedia Development: create audio, video, graphics and screenshots.
• Learner Analysis: identify learner characteristics and requirements.
• Instructional Strategy: recommend methods and activities to support objectives.
• Training Needs Assessment: identify performance gaps and determine requirements.
• Data Analysis and Recommendations: analyze data and propose solutions.
• Training Evaluation and Improvement: assess outcomes and improve materials.
