Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team on a multi-year federal contract. You will build and maintain web apps using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases, with exposure to legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS.

The role requires strong hands-on Java/Spring, SQL, and Angular skills, with ability to deliver independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; 6+ years of software development, focused on Java & Spring ecosystem.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle/SQL Server) and XML/JSON formats.
• Proficiency with Maven, Git, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Legacy modernization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle: backlog refinement, sprints, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
• Build responsive web apps using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Create RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Write unit/integration tests and support automated testing.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
