Job summary

Cadmus Group is hiring a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team on a multi-year federal contract. You will develop, enhance, and maintain modern web apps using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with REST APIs and relational databases.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on Java/Spring experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to deliver independently. Legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience with 6+ years of software development in Java & Spring ecosystems.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Strong SQL and relational DB experience (Oracle preferred).
• Proficient with Maven, Git, and modern SDLC methodologies.
• Familiarity with legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Develop RESTful services and integrate with relational databases.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
