Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team on a multi-year federal contract. You will develop and maintain modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases.

Strong troubleshooting, legacy modernization, and IBM WAS/IHS experience are a plus. You will collaborate with architects, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable enhancements, mentor juniors, and contribute to design reviews and deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in software development (Java & Spring ecosystem).
• Strong front-end with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience building RESTful services and integrating with relational databases (Oracle/ SQL Server).
• Experience with Maven, Git, Agile/Scrum, and legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

• Participate throughout the Agile software development lifecycle including planning and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web apps with Angular/TypeScript/HTML5/CSS.
• Create RESTful services via Spring Boot and ensure quality through tests.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and create technical documentation.
