Job summary

Cadmus seeks a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join a multi-year Federal contract team. The role focuses on delivering modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases. Knowledge of Servlets and JSPs is a plus.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Java, Spring, SQL, and Angular experience, with a track record of troubleshooting and independent delivery. Legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience with 6+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate) and REST APIs.
• Strong front-end development with Angular; TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with Maven, Git, Agile/Scrum and legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle including backlog refinement, sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
