Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join a multi-year Federal contract team. You will build and maintain modern web apps using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Angular, with REST APIs and relational databases.

You’ll troubleshoot, review code, and collaborate with architects, testers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable enhancements. Eligible to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 6+ years in Java/Spring ecosystem.
• Strong Java/Spring/Angular skills with REST API development.
• Experience with SQL/relational databases, Oracle preferred.
• Familiarity with legacy modernization and IBM WebSphere platforms.
• Proven debugging, design, and collaboration abilities within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile/Scrum lifecycle from planning to retrospective.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Create RESTful services with Spring Boot and integrate with databases.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and performance improvements.
• Diagnose production issues and implement reliable enhancements across layers.
• Mentor junior developers and document architecture and flows.
