Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Columbus, Ohio, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. The role features a second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) with a base hourly pay of $26.50, plus signing, quarterly, and certification bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required for the role.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs required repairs.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
