Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Monroe, OH to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and work with diagnostics to identify root causes.

The role offers a second shift (12:00 pm – 8:30 pm), competitive hourly pay of 31.88, and a comprehensive benefits package including training, merit increases, and various bonuses.

Qualifications

• Basic tools are required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of gas or diesel engines is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose standard mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, MOT guidelines and quality standards.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of the issue and communicate repairs.
