Ryder is hiring a Mid‑Level Diesel Technician in Monroe, OH to join a team focused on heavy‑duty vehicle maintenance and repair. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, including health/dental/vision, PTO from day one, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.

The position features a second shift (12:00 pm – 8:30 pm), Monday–Friday with weekends off, and opportunities for quarterly bonuses and merit increases. CDL‑A preferred and readiness to obtain CDL within 6 months are noted.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post secondary degree or technical certifications, preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root cause of failures and perform repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Ensures compliance with safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
• Performs other support duties as needed.
