You will conduct legal research, develop thoughtful litigation strategies, manage written discovery and document production, and analyze complex factual and legal issues to present clear recommendations.

Overview

• The role involves drafting substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other sophisticated litigation work product.
• Responsibilities include conducting legal research, developing thoughtful and practical litigation strategies, managing written discovery, document production, and aspects of fact and expert discovery, and analyzing complex factual and legal issues to present clear and persuasive recommendations.
• Associates support case strategy development, prepare for significant case events and proceedings, and manage significant components of matters with appropriate partner supervision, coordinating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other members of the case team.
• Experience taking depositions and appearing in court for conferences or on discovery matters is a plus.
• The Business & Commercial Disputes practice handles a broad range of complex disputes, including contract disputes, business torts, partnership or shareholder disputes, and fiduciary duty claims.
• BCLP staffs matters leanly, giving associates meaningful responsibility for cases, client interactions, and litigation strategy.
• The firm engages with high-profile clients across sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, media, real estate, and healthcare.
