Overview

• Work on complex, high-stakes commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution in state and federal courts for a sophisticated national and international client base.
• Key responsibilities include drafting a range of dispositive and non-dispositive motions, preparing for and conducting depositions (fact and expert witnesses as experience allows), managing all aspects of discovery (including written discovery, document production, e-discovery coordination, and discovery motion practice), and supporting trial preparation and teams.
• Analyze dispute risks, litigation exposure, and business implications to contribute to practical, business-oriented client advice, including direct communication with clients (in-house counsel and business stakeholders) under appropriate guidance.
• The position offers direct responsibility on lean case teams.
• Experience in restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy litigation is considered a plus.
• A broad range of experience in commercial disputes, such as contract disputes, business torts, partnership/shareholder disputes, and fiduciary duty claims, is expected.
