Job summary

Exponential Power is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive growth in the Mid-Atlantic region within our Industrial & Stationary business unit, focusing on utility and industrial markets.

The role combines field sales, channel partner engagement, and technical support, with hybrid/remote options, base pay 90k-100k plus commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• College degree from accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years sales experience in Power equipment, UPS systems, and/or Power services.
• Experience selling into Utility/Industrial markets including Petro/Petro chemical, Steel mills, and heavy industries.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Directing and leading all sales activities within a defined region and specific existing accounts.
• Growth of existing accounts in orders, sales, and profitability.
• Identification and pursuit of new customers to gain orders and sales growth.
• Support and communicate with Customer Service to ensure effective customer response and care.
• Bring feedback to the organization (voice of the customer) to monitor industry changes and client needs.
• Maintain a sales funnel to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Develop and maintain a sales channel strategy for growth and expanded markets.
• Meet with key distributors/channel partners and develop shared goals.
• Sell support and training at key/targeted accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers to increase satisfaction and repeat sales.
• Assist in preparation of quote opportunities and support engineering for margins.
